Terms & Conditions

  • All online, in-person, and over-the-phone service bookings require the following information; Client name, address, email, mobile number, package choice, vehicle condition, and service deposit 
  • Appointment times in the online portal are based on a full day drop off only and while hours are noted in on the website, this is a requirement for the booking software. If a specific time is requested please call to verify prior to the appointment date. No exceptions will be made. 
  • Detailing times are estimated only. Each vehicle requires more or less time based on several factors included the size, condition, and services required.
  • Pickup times are estimated only and may change due to variables out of our control. If pickup time exceeds the originally anticipated time, a call will be made to coordinate this change. 
  • All vehicles must be dropped off prior to 9 AM on the scheduled day unless otherwise discussed in order to keep the finish work to be within planned timing. 
  • It is the clients responsibility to remove all personal belongings & money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any service. Car Tech Details is not liable for any loss or damage to any personal property left in the vehicle being serviced.
  • Please inspect your vehicle prior to appointment to assure that all lights are off, doors are closed, and that your battery is in good working condition. Car Tech Details is not liable for discharged batteries before, during, or after services. 
  • We reserve the right to process a minimum of 50% payment to secure all bookings
  • All vehicles are cleaned at the customers own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes. No repairs, warranties, or the like are included for any existing conditions included, but not limited to, thin paint, scratched paint, soiled carpet, scuffed panels, interior fade, and the like.
  • We reserve the right to move or alter any and all bookings based on weather conditions, staff limitations, equipment failure, acts of nature, etc.
  • Car Tech Details reserves the right to cancel, refuse service, or decline specific service requests top anyone for any reason.
  • Car Tech Details will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any staff under any circumstance.
  • Any and all pick up and delivery services have a service fee which is based on distance and time from the shop.
  • A minimum 25% surcharge will be applied to all services that involve excessive pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, feces, or other hazardous materials with no exceptions.
  • Car Tech Details reserves the right to modify and amend any price should the services differ from the original scope of work. This includes additional polishing, compounding, wet sanding, etc that are not in the original package chosen at the time of booking. We always contact clients prior to any changes to verbally confirm.
  • Additional hourly rate, when applicable, will be billed at $85 per hour. This does not apply to quoted services or pre-priced packages in any way. Car Tech Details reserves the right to modify any price according to the actual vehicle size, condition, and work required to complete the service.
  • Any services on our website, in our store, or on promotional materials that list a “from” or “starting at” indicates the lowest possible cost for a basic version of what that service provides. Actual price will be based on vehicle condition, size, materials involved, etc and will be provided by a technician upon request.
  • A Car Tech Details technician will contact you the day before, or Friday before if on a Monday, to confirm your appointment via phone call, text, or email.
  • A phone call will be made to the client in the morning after the vehicle is prepped to confirm the work requested, any possible additional requirements, any service changes, and timing. Please be prepared to receive this contact or notify the technician prior that you will be unavailable.
  • Unless otherwise requested, you agree to be included on the Car Tech Details email list at the time of service. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of the email communications. 
  • We may ask you where you heard about Car Tech Details, leave a review, or fill our a client satisfaction survey too help us better our service to you and others.
  • In the case of a missed appointment which has not been cancelled in advance per our cancellation policy below, we reserve the right to charge the full amount due to a provided debit or credit card or will send an invoice via email and USPS accordingly.
  • We require 24 hours notice from the start of the arrival window to cancel any booking/detailing service.
  • Failure to provide 24 hours advance notice of cancellation will result in a minimum charge of 25% of the service cost.
  • Same day appointments that are cancelled will incur a charge of 25% of the service cost.
  • Car Tech Details reserves the right to take full payment if a booking is cancelled on the day without prior agreement.
  • Car Tech Details reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know.
  • Car Tech Details reserves the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance to its staff levels, weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.
  • Failure to be present at the time and location of the ordered service will result in the full value of the service being charged.
  • If there is probable and clear cause that the service technician did not fulfill the package as ordered or there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will at our cost refund or redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service.
  • Cleaning or repairing the vehicle personally or professionally after the initial service without authorization voids our Service Guarantee. Redos, refunds, or reimbursements will not be made after any unauthorized cleaning or repairs.
  • Refusing a redo appointment for the unsatisfactory portion of your service limits any refunds to 20% of the value of your service.
  • Failure to disclose at the time of booking any conditional issues that involve heavy stains, foul odors, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray or any other hazardous materials voids our service guarantee. No refunds, redos, or any additional work will be performed outside of the original package or estimate.
  • Some issues may require services beyond those you ordered. Refusing the services recommended by customer service or your on-site technician may invalidate the service guarantee.
  • Only services included in your order and additional services authorized by Car Tech Details are covered under our service guarantee. Any services not authorized by Car Tech Details are at customer’s own risk.
  • Our on-site technician may take photographs and/or videos to document the before and after condition of your vehicle, including the license plate. Preventing the technician from doing so will invalidate our service guarantee and any redo appointments or refunds are at the sole discretion of Car Tech Details.
  • Payment is due at the completion of your service. Refusal or failure to pay for your service invalidates our service guarantee and any redo services or discounts are at the sole discretion of Car Tech Details
  • Filing a credit card dispute/chargeback for billed services invalidates our service guarantee and no refunds or redo appointments will be authorized
  • Claims must be filed within 48 hours of the completion of the service
  • For payer verification purposes, Gift Certificates have a 48 hour holding period before they can be redeemed for services.
  • Gift Certificates can only be used once per vehicle per service.
  • Gift certificates can not be combined or redeemed with any other additional discounts, coupons, or promotions.
  • Gift certificates reflect a cash value. Prices for services may adjust due to seasonality, location, inflation, or demand.
